SEVEN SPRINGS & BUTTERFLIES
The Most Famous Natural Attractions on the Island
The Valley of Butterflies is one of the most famous natural attractions on the island of Rhodes. Located in the western part of the island, it is a lush, green valley full of pine trees where thousands of Jersey Tiger Moths gather in the summer. The valley offers visitors walkways through the shady forest as well as wooden bridges and rippling streams. Perfect for nature lovers, the valley is a serene destination.
Seven Springs (Epta Piges) is a lush, green oasis and a charming natural paradise. It is famous for its seven springs that form a small lake and continue as a river surrounded by a verdant forest. There is also a dark, 186m long tunnel that adventurous visitors can explore, leading to a cool, beautiful, turquoise-colored lake.
